Spring 2026

Opening Hours

We’re on our Spring opening hours so from now until the 26th March the bookshop will be open on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 10.30am to 3pm. From 27th March to 1st November we’ll be opening daily, from 10am to 4.15pm.

Most books are still only £1, CDs and DVDs 50p, and jigsaws from £3.

Volunteers

We always need more volunteers to help in the shop and enable us to open every day during the summer months. Additionally we are looking for other individuals who can give a few hours a week to support us with our website, online selling, etc. If you like the idea of volunteering with us in any of these roles, then please do get in touch.

Competition News

The prizes for the half-term holiday competition have now been presented to the winners. We’d like to say a big “Thank You” to everyone who took part. Proceeds from the competition have been donated to EACH (East Anglian Children’s Hospice).
